Career Notes: Enters his fourth professional season in 2017-18, after signing a two-year, AHL agreement with the Iowa Wild on May 23, 2016… 2016-17: Played in a career-high 74 AHL games. Tied a career-high with 21 points and recorded a career high of 16 assists… 2015-16: Signed a PTO with Iowa on November 27, 2015. Started the 2015-16 season in the ECHL playing for the Idaho Steelheads.  Made his Iowa debut on Nov. 28, 2015 at Charlotte. Recorded his first AHL point with his first AHL goal in Rockford on Dec. 11, 2015. Had two assists at Rockford on Dec. 27, 2015, his first multi-point game in the AHL... Signed an AHL SPC on Jan. 19, 2016. Had a goal and an assist at Rockford on Jan. 22, 2016. Scored twice and added an assist for his first 3-point AHL game - a 4-3 OTL at San Antonio on April 9, 2016… 2014-15: Played his first full pro season with the ECHL's Idaho Steelheads, a Dallas Stars affiliate. Appeared in 65 games, scoring 18 goals and 31 assists for 49 points. Finished third on the team in assists. Also appeared in six playoff games, scoring one goal and four assists for five points.... 2013-14: He made his professional debut after completing his collegiate career at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. Appeared in three AHL games for the St. John's IceCaps. He also appeared in 37 games at Alaska-Fairbanks, finishing second on the team in scoring with 14 goals and 25 assists for 39 points. Beck played all four of his collegiate seasons at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, playing in 146 games and scoring 42 goals and 59 assists for 101 career points.


Father, Murray was drafted by the WHA's Houston Aeros in 1974. He played professionally for five years.  His Uncle, Barry Beck, played 15 years in the NHL for the New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings and the Colorado Rockies from 1977-90, posting 355 points in 615 NHL games.
