Career Notes: Enters his third full pro season in 2016-17, having signed a three-year, entry-level deal with Minnesota on Mar. 3, 2014, which began in the 14-15 season … 2015-16: Posted a career high and set an Iowa Wild single season record for most penalty minutes with 137. Iowa’s all-time leader in penalty minutes. Sits fifth on Iowa’s all-time games played list. Recalled to Minnesota on Nov.10, 2015. Made his NHL debut in St. Paul versus Winnipeg on Nov.10, 2015, picking up five penalty minutes for fighting Chris Thorburn. Played in his 100th AHL game (all Iowa) on Dec. 26, 2015 at Chicago - a 2-1 Iowa win. Named Iowa’s IOA/Specialty AHL Man of the Year for exceptional community service. Extensive work with Defending the Blue Line. Joined Minnesota and made his Stanley Cup Playoff debut in Game 3 of the first round series with the Dallas Stars on Apr. 18, 2016 in St. Paul. Ranked fourth on the team for Stanley Cup Playoff hits, posting five in Game 4 vs. Dallas on Apr. 20, 2016… 2014-15:  Led the team, setting new Iowa team records, and placing tied for first among all rookies, with 13 major penalties. Finished fourth among league rookies in overall penalty minutes. 2013-14: Turned pro at the completion of his junior season, making his AHL debut on April 4, 2014 at Milwaukee. Scored his first AHL goal and added an assist on Apr. 16, 2014 vs. Chicago. Recorded his first Gordie Howe Hat Trick in a 4-3 overtime loss at Oklahoma City on Apr. 18, 2014. Placed third in points for Owen Sound and led the club in assists and penalty minutes. Was an alternate captain in his final junior campaign. 2012-13: Placed seventh in goals scored and fourth in penalty minutes.
