Played in a career high 24 NHL games, picking up his first NHL point with an assist on Oct. 30, 2016 at Detroit – a 5-2 W for the Panthers. Scored his first NHL goal at home in a 3-2 OTW against the New York Islanders on Nov. 12, 2016. Finished eighth in scoring at Springfield despite spending a large part of the season in Florida… 2015-16: Played in 63 games for Portland (AHL), placing second in goals and sixth in points. Played high school hockey at Eden Prairie and won Minnesota's Mr. Hockey Award, as well as first-team all-state honors in 2010-11 after leading the Eagles to a Class AA state championship in 2010-11. Scored the winning goal against Duluth East in triple overtime of the 2011 Class AA state championship game on Mar. 12, 2011.
