Wild Continues Five-Game Road Trip in Chicago on Sunday at 3 p.m.
Des Moines, IA – Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher on Saturday announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned goaltender John Curry and defenseman Steven Kampfer to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Curry, 30 (2/27/84), was recalled by Minnesota on Feb. 26 and did not appear in a game with the Wild. He is 7-5-2 with a 2.08 goals-against average (GAA) and a .935 save percentage (SV%) in 15 games with Iowa this season. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound netminder has also posted a 10-2-0 record, 2.66 GAA and .917 SV% in 13 games with the Orlando Solar Bears in the ECHL this season.
Kampfer, 25 (9/24/88), was recalled by Minnesota on Feb. 24 and did not appear in a game with the Wild. He has collected 19 points (5-14=19) and 35 penalty minutes (PIM) in 49 games with Iowa this season.
The team remains on a five-game road trip with stops in Milwaukee, Chicago and Grand Rapids prior to returning home on Sunday, Mar. 16 at 5:05 p.m. to host San Antonio.
