IOWA WILD FORWARD MASON SHAW SET TO MAKE SEASON DEBUT
Jan 17, 2020Iowa Wild Head Coach Tim Army announced today forward Mason Shaw will be in the lineup against the San Jose Barracuda Friday night and will make his 2019-20 season debut.
Shaw, 21, missed the first 40 games of the season as he recovered from a knee injury suffered at Milwaukee in Game 3 of the Central Division Semifinals in the 2019 Calder Cup Playoffs. In his rookie season, the 5-foot-9, 179-pound native of Wainwright, AB recorded 33 points (8g, 25a) while playing in all 76 contests, just the third rookie and fifth player to play every game of a season. Shaw led all rookies in assists and scoring and ranked second in PIM (43) and shots (124).
