IOWA WILD SIGNS RYAN BOTTRILL TO ATO
Mar 27, 2026DES MOINES, Iowa – Iowa Wild General Manager Matt Hendricks today announced the American Hockey League (AHL) club signed forward Ryan Bottrill to an amateur try-out contract (ATO).
Bottrill, 24 (2/4/2002), recorded 36 points (9-27=36), 20 penalty minutes (PIM) and a plus-2 rating with Clarkson (NCAA) during the 2025-26 season. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound native of Scottsdale, Arizona posted 95 points (26-69=95), 68 PIM, and a minus-17 rating in 137 NCAA games across four seasons with Clarkson (2024-26) and Brown.
Prior to his collegiate career, Bottrill recorded 65 points (17-48=65), 85 PIM, and a plus-13 rating across two NAHL seasons with the Maryland Black Bears (2021-22) and Janesville Jets (2019-20)
Bottrill will wear sweater No. 12 with the Iowa Wild.
