Notables –

●       Iowa leads the AHL with three shorthanded goals against this season.

Milwaukee Admirals

The most notable offseason change for Milwaukee is the team’s home ice. After 28 years at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, the Admirals move down the street to the UWM Panthers Arena. The Admirals host their first home game on Oct. 29 by hosting Iowa.

The biggest player departures include forward Max Reinhart, who signed with the Cologne Sharks of the DEL. He had 23 goals and 38 points in 73 games with Milwaukee. Joining him is veteran defenseman Corey Potter. He joined the team late in the year, coming over from Springfield after a trade between Nashville and Arizona.

The Predators are well stocked with young prospects and because of that, not a lot of signings in the summer. Veteran defenseman Matt Irwin will be a nice addition for Milwaukee. The team brought back abrasive winger Michael Liambas. The left wing played for the club from 2012-15. Liambas led the AHL with 20 majors and was second with 188 PIM.

Right wing Adam Payerl leads his club in scoring with one goal and two assists for three points in four games. Forwards Trevor Smith, Justin Florek, Felix Girard Vladislav Kamenev and Pontus Aberg each has two points. Goalie Jusse Saros is 3-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA and a .964 SV %.

Milwaukee’s power play is 27th, going 2-for-24 (8.3%). The Admirals are 9th on the penalty kill, stopping 24 of 27 (88.9%).
