IOWA WILD ANNOUNCES NIGHTLY SPECIALS

$2 Beer Fridays, Kids Eat Free on Tuesday, Winning Wednesdays Lead the Charge

DES MOINES, IA – The Iowa Wild announced on Tuesday the team’s nightly specials for the 2015-16 regular season.  

The team is rolling out numerous nightly specials, adding to an extensive promotions schedule that was released last week. In addition to the $2 Beers Nights every Friday, the Wild has created new specials for Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesdays - enhancing the overall fan experience at Wells Fargo Arena for Iowa Wild home games.

Nightly Specials –

The team returns popular Nightly Specials such as $2 Beer Nights and the Subway Combo Pack. In addition, the Wild have announced new Nightly specials.

Monday – Free Parking Every Monday (until the Iowa Events Center lots are full) – sponsored by Des Moines Radio Group.

Tuesday – All kids (12 and Under) Eat FREE (1 free Crash’s Kids Meal=1 hot dog, 1 soda, 1 popcorn, 1 fruit snack and one Wild prize) – presented by 96.5 Country of iHeartMedia Des Moines.

Wednesday – Winning Wednesdays – For every Wednesday home game – if the Iowa Wild wins all fans in attendance will receive a ticket to the next Wednesday game, sponsored by Cumulus Media Group.

Friday - $2 Beer Nights presented by 100.3 The Bus

Sunday – The Subway/Star102.5 FM Combo pack starts at $12 per person and includes one ticket, one hot dog, one soda and one subway coupon.

With the release of the 2015-16 regular-season schedule, the Iowa Wild will make single-game tickets available for purchase starting Sept. 9 at 10 a.m.

The Green-White game is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 6 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Arena with a split-squad scrimmage of Iowa Wild players. The game features two (2) 30-minute running clock halves with a short intermission in between the two periods. Fans are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to gain entrance to the game. The items will be donated to the Bidwell Riverside Center.

The Iowa Wild plays a pair of preseason games, both will be in North Dakota against the Manitoba Moose -the Winnipeg Jets AHL club. Iowa and Manitoba meet in Grand Forks, ND on Fri. Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. The two teams will play a second preseason game in Fargo, ND on Sat. Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. 

Iowa begins its third season in the AHL this fall. The team will host Opening Night on Saturday, Oct. 10. Fans may purchase single-game tickets multiple ways, either through the team's website – www.Iowawild.com, the Wells Fargo Arena box office or participating Hy-Vee food stores. Tickets are available online at www.Iowawild.com under the single game tickets tab. The Wells Fargo Arena box office is open Monday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and closed on Sunday. For Saturday game days, the box office will open at 10 a.m. For Sunday game days the box office will open at 12 p.m. Fans may also purchase tickets by calling 1-844-55-HYVEE or by visiting participating Hy-Vee food stores locations in the greater Des Moines area. Fans interested in buying full season, or smaller season packages may call the Iowa Wild front office at 515-564-8700. In July of 2015, the AHL honored the Iowa Wild by naming it the Western Conference’s Best Fan Experience.

The Iowa Wild 2015-16 season is presented by Mercy Medical Center, it runs from October through April. Fans may purchase seats to see any of the team’s 38 regular season home games at Wells Fargo Arena. Season tickets to see the Wild play its 2015-16 season at Wells Fargo Arena start at just $9 per game.
