FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Cashless Arena

Wells Fargo Arena is now mostly a cashless facility. All concessions will now only accept debit, credit, and gift cards, with the exception of Exile (Section 108). Guests are able to transfer cash onto a gift card at the Exile Stand (Section 108) if you do not carry a debit or credit card.

Clear Bag Policy

Wells Fargo Arena has implemented a clear bag policy for all events. A maximum size of 12"x6"x12" is permitted. Wallets and clutches are permissible up to 4.5"x6.5".

Bags exceeding this size are not permitted in Wells Fargo Arena, and those fans will be asked to return their oversized bags to their vehicles or discard them. This is in addition to the existing policy that all bags, purses, or personal items of any size are subject to search.

Exceptions will be made for bags containing items required for medical, family, or child care.

Digital Ticketing

  • Digital ticketing allows for contactless arena entry, user-friendly account management, ticket transfer capabilities right from your smartphone or web browser, and a more responsible environmental footprint.

Entrance & Exit Procedures

  • Fans who sit in the Luxury Suites must enter the North VIP doors in order to access their suite.
  • Fans who are sitting in the Surly Breakaway Lounge must enter via the Skywalk entrance in order to access the Wild Country Club.
  • Wild 365 VIPs may enter the arena 30-minutes prior to the general public at the north entrance only.
  • The Wells Fargo Arena box office will be open on Tuesdays through Friday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. For games that take place on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays, the box office will open 3 hours before puck drop. 

Fan Safety

  • Fans may not, under any circumstances, bring weapons of any kind (including permit to carry), chain belts, pocket knives, and other hazardous or potentially dangerous items into Wells Fargo Arena.
  • We ask that fans not attend games or events if they are sick or have been in contact with someone else who is sick.

WildWear Merchandise Updates

  • New this year, WildWear stores are 100% cashless. All major credit types will be accepted.
  • Clear bags are available for purchase.
  • Want to order online and pick up your order at the game? Select "Pickup In Store" when you check out, and your items will be ready for pickup at the next home game!
    • Must place your order 24-hours in advance of game day
    • Pickup only available at the North WildWear store

Gift Policy

No wrapped gifts are allowed to be brought inside Wells Fargo Arena. Gift bags are fine on the suite level only. Everything must be in bags and will require a security check upon entry. All other locations within the arena must adhere to the clear bag policy.

Sign Policy

Banners and signs no larger than 2.5 feet x 2.5 feet and contain NO sticks, poles or offensive/vulgar language are allowed in the arena. Banners and signs may not be hung or fastened anywhere in Wells Fargo Arena. Signs must be handled and displayed at appropriate times wihtout impeding the experience of other guests. This is subject to change at any time based on a specific request from Wells Fargo Arena or the Iowa Wild.

Any banners or signs that do not meet the criteria listed above are subject to being confiscated.

TICKETS FAQ

When does the box office open?

The Wells Fargo Arena box office will be open on Tuesdays through Fridays from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

On Iowa Wild gamedays taking place Saturday, Sunday or Monday, the box office will open 3 hours before puck drop.

At what age does my child need a ticket?

Children under the age of 2 are admitted free of charge, and are expected to sit in a parent’s lap. Children 2 years and over must have a ticket.

I have Flex Tickets; what do I do next?

Flex Tickets need to be redeemed for a game ticket. One of the perks of our digital ticketing system is that you can redeem your flex tickets entirely online! 

All flex redemptions are based on availability and best available seating. There is potential for your price level to be sold out. In that case, you can upgrade your Flex at a cost or sit in a less expensive price level (no refund on the difference of the price if downgraded).

What can I do with tickets I didn't use?

No exchanges are allowed for individual game tickets. This stipulation is clearly marked on each ticket. There is no refund for tickets.


Season Ticket Holder tickets may be exchanged under the "Never Waste a Ticket Program"; subject to availability.

Game tickets can only be exchanged in advance! If you have tickets to a select game and cannot attend, you are able to exchange those tickets for a future game date. You can complete the exchange process in your online account. Exchanges cannot be done at the Wells Fargo Arena Box Office.

Exchanging tickets from previous games will not be permitted. Exchanges must be done no later than one hour before puck drop of the original game. For questions, contact the Iowa Wild Ticket Office at 515-564-8700 or tickets@iowawild.com.

What happens with lost or stolen tickets?

In all instances, tickets should be treated like cash. There is no guarantee on replacing tickets. 


If the tickets were purchased at the Wells Fargo Arena box office:

Cash payment: There are no instances when replacement tickets will be issued if a patron has lost their tickets.

Credit Card Payment: Call (515) 564-8700 or come in to the Iowa Events Center Ticket Office. The following information will be required: customer’s name, date of purchase, credit card used.

Once the original order has been found, replacement tickets will be printed and the original tickets will be voided.

If the tickets were purchased through online ticketing or by phone:

Please contact the Iowa Event Center’s phone center 844-55-HYVEE (844-554-9833) to report your tickets lost. They will give you further instructions once you place a report with them. Any replacement tickets will only be allowed to be picked up on the event day. This is to ensure the safety of your ticket; once tickets have been replaced, no other replacements can be made. Tickets can only be picked up by the person who is listed on the account as the ticket purchaser, with a valid ID and credit card used to purchase the tickets.

 


Stolen Tickets

For stolen tickets, the ticket holder must present a letter explaining the circumstances of the theft and a copy of the police report.

A police report will be required by Iowa Events Center Management. Tickets will be reprinted at the discretion of the Ticket Office Manager and only after verification of purchase.

What happens if I couldn't make it because of the weather?

All Iowa Wild games are 'Rain or Shine' events. Only extreme inclement weather may cause games to be canceled or postponed. Neither rain nor snow are considered inclement weather. Should a decision be made to cancel or postpone a game, this information will be posted as soon as it is determined via www.iowawild.com, and communicated to ticket purchasers via email and through numerous social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, etc.)

Can I upgrade my seats?

Yes! Flex tickets or complimentary tickets and vouchers may be upgraded for the difference in price.

Gameday FAQs

Where do I park when I come to a game?

The parking lot is located between 3rd Street and 5th Street, with an entrance on each street. It’s just northwest of the north entrance for Wells Fargo Arena. The parking is first come first serve and costs $12 per car. Parking is cashless at the arena!

If I lose something, where can I find it?

During a game, you may inquire about lost or found items at Guest Services located on the main concourse behind section 107. Following a game, please call 515-564-8351 during normal business hours.

Where are the ATMs located?

We are a cashless facility however there are ATMs located at Section 124 (Box Office Lobby) and Section 108 (Concourse)

Can I leave and come back into the arena?

No. There is no re-admittance once you leave Wells Fargo Arena, unless you are in the designated smoking area.

Where can I go to smoke?

You can smoke in the designated areas which are located outside of the north and south entrances, there is a barricaded area so you are able to re-enter when you are done.

Can I get a birthday/anniversary announcement on the scoreboard?

Call the Iowa Wild Ticket Office at 515-564-8700. There is a $25 cost for scoreboard messages, which is donated to Tickets for Kids Charities! If you are a Wild season ticket holder, birthday or anniversary messages are complimentary.

Please make your request 24 hours prior to your game date to be included on the scoreboard.

How can I perform the National Anthem at a game?

Our national anthems are usually booked by performance groups. Contact the Iowa Wild Ticket Office at 515-564-8700 if you have questions about participating.

Can I bring a camera into the event?

Small point & shoot cameras are allowed. Professional cameras (specifically cameras with professional detachable lenses and flash) are not allowed.

Am I allowed to bring a sign or a noisemaker?

Signs are allowed as long as they are appropriate. You may not bring in any artificial noisemakers except for a cowbell, because we always want more cowbell.

When can I get into Wells Fargo Arena?

You can get into Wells Fargo Arena 60 minutes before the game. Season ticket holders may purchase the VIP Package which allows you early access. Learn more about the VIP Package HERE. Suites and The Loft open 60 minutes before puck drop.

Are the games on radio or TV?

Yes, all of our home and away games are broadcast on the AM radio station 1460 KXNO. We have a handful a TV games that are played on Mediacom (MC-22) and all games are available for streaming on AHLTV for a small fee.

Security and Conduct Policy

Doors for suite holders, VIP season ticket holders, and those seeking access to the restaurant will open 90 minutes prior to the start of all Iowa Wild home games. All remaining Iowa Wild fans may access the arena 60 minutes prior to each game. Wells Fargo Arena’s intention is to make the process of entering the arena as smooth as possible. The Iowa Wild would like to remind fans to arrive at all home games as early as possible; this helps avoid delays upon entering the building. On weekends, fans should allow for extra time as larger crowds are regularly expected on Friday and Saturday nights.

Wells Fargo Arena prohibits outside food and beverages, professional cameras (detachable/lenses longer than 6”), weapons of any kind (including permit to carry), chain belts, pocket knives, and other hazardous or potentially dangerous items. Items are subject to change at the discretion of Wells Fargo Arena security personnel. Exceptions are potentially made for medical reasons after proper inspection of medical items.

Wells Fargo Arena is unable to store oversized or prohibited items. Fans are encouraged to leave unnecessary personal belongings in their vehicle or at their place of residence.

Wells Fargo Arena respects the privacy of its guests and enhanced security measures are used to prevent hazardous and prohibited items from entering the venue. These measures are in place in light of the changing world we live in. The enhanced security measures are intended to increase the overall safety of all guests and are consistent with security procedures at other venues around the country.

Improper Conduct

Management reserves the right, without the refund of any portion of the ticket purchase price, to refuse admission to or eject any person whose conduct is deemed by management in their sole discretion as disorderly, who uses vulgar or abusive language or who fails to comply with these or other management rules. Disorderly conduct includes, but is not limited to drunkenness, rowdiness, throwing objects, profanity, harassment, or obnoxious/excessive use of noisemakers.

Inappropriate Conduct

We strive to create a fun, family-friendly environment at Wells Fargo Arena and we need your help and support to do so. We want to remind all fans that inappropriate comments, gestures, and behaviors are not acceptable and could result in removal from the arena.
