IOWA WILD RECALLS GOALTENDER CJ MOTTE FROM ALLEN

Iowa Wild General Manager Tom Kurvers announced today the American Hockey League (AHL) club has recalled goaltender CJ Motte from the Allen Americans of the ECHL.

 

Motte, 27 (12/10/91), has made three starts for Iowa this season, posting a 1-0-2 record, a 2.92 goals against average and a .901 save percentage.

 

The 6-foot, 185 pound native of St. Clair, MI has also skated in 32 games for the Americans this season, registering a 13-13-4-2 record, a 3.17 goals against average, a .913 save percentage and three shutouts. His three shutouts and 1157 shots faced are the most in the ECHL and his 1913 minutes played rank second among all ECHL goaltenders.

 

Iowa finishes its three-game road trip with a contest against the San Jose Barracuda Tuesday evening. Puck drop is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. CT.
