MINNESOTA SET FOR NHL PROSPECTS TOURNEY THIS WEEKEND

DES MOINES, IA – Minnesota Wild are set to participate in the 2016 NHL Prospects Tournament in Traverse City, Mich.,Sept. 16-20. Wild prospects will compete in the tournament's Ted Lindsay Division with the Carolina Hurricanes, Dallas Stars and New York Rangers. The Chicago Blackhawks, Columbus Blue Jackets, Detroit Red Wings and St. Louis Blues will play in the Gordie Howe Division.

Minnesota's roster features 13 Wild draft picks: RW Christoph Bertschy (2012, 6th round), D Gustav Bouramman (2015, 7th round), D Braydyn Chizen (2016, 7th round), C Joel Eriksson Ek (2015, 1st round), C Adam Gilmour (2012, 4th round), RW Pavel Jenys (2014, 7th round), C Chase Lang (2014, 6th round), LW Mario Lucia (2011, 2nd round), G Steve Michalek (2011, 6th round), D Gustav Olofsson(2013, 2nd round), D Nick Seeler (2011, 5th round), RW Dmitry Sokolov (2016, 7th round) and RW Alex Tuch (2014, 1st round) along with 2016 free-agent signings LW Sam Anas and G Adam Vay. Iowa Wild Head Coach Derek Lalonde, Associate Coach David Cunniff and Assistant Coach Pascal Rheaume will lead the Wild prospects.

The 2016-17 regular season schedule begins on Oct. 14 and single-game tickets for the 2016-17 regular season will go on sale in mid-September. Opening Night 2016 is set for Friday, Oct. 14 at Wells Fargo Arena, when the team opens a seven-game home stand.
The Iowa Wild 2016-17 season is presented by Mercy Medical Center: and runs from October through April. Fans may purchase seats to see any of the team’s 38 regular season home games at Wells Fargo Arena. Season tickets to see the Wild play its 2016-17 season at Wells Fargo Arena start at just $10 per game. Fans may purchase single-game tickets multiple ways, either through the team's website – www.Iowawild.com, the Wells Fargo Arena box office or participating Hy-Vee food stores. The Wells Fargo Arena box office is open Monday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and closed on Sunday. For Saturday game days, the box office will open at 10 a.m. For Sunday game days the box office will open at 12 p.m. Fans may also purchase tickets by calling 1-844-55-HYVEE or by visiting participating Hy-Vee food stores locations in the greater Des Moines area.
