Last Game

Iowa faced-off against Milwaukee Admirals in a back-and-forth affair, which saw three different lead changes and ended with the hosts earning the win in the shootout. Wild forward Christoph Bertschy scored the game’s first goal in the first period, followed by Admirals forward Anthony Richard before the close of the opening frame. Wild forward Kyle Rau opened the scoring in the second, before Richard tallied his second of the game. Later, defenseman Alex Grant gave the Wild a 3-2 lead in the second period, which held until late in the third, when Admirals forward Harry Zolnierczyk scored to make it 3-3. The game went to the shootout and the Admirals maintained their perfect record in the skills competition, scoring on all three chances and securing the extra point.
