Iowa Wild hosts Rockford IceHogs at Wells Fargo Arena for the fourth time this season Saturday night for the Wild’s Pink at the Rink game. Rockford currently sits at fifth in the Central Division, while Iowa sits in a tie for second with Chicago, who holds the tiebreaker. The Wild has a 4-4-0-0 record against the IceHogs this season, most recently a 5-3 win at BMO Harris Bank Center on Dec. 29.

Last Game

With help from Sam Anas’ two goals, the Wild defeated Chicago Wolves 4-1 Friday night at Wells Fargo Arena. Forwards Landon Ferraro and Kyle Rau each tallied a goal for the home team while Wild goaltender Niklas Svedberg stopped 29 of 30 shots in the win.

  • Forward Sam Anas recorded his 12th multi-point night with the win over Chicago, which leads the team.
  • Anas’ 18 goals lead the Wild and are five shy from the AHL lead in tallies.
  • Forward Kyle Rau has recorded a goal and an assist in three of his last five outings.
  • Iowa signed forward Ryan White to a standard player contract on Feb. 9. He made his Iowa Wild debut that night against Chicago. In 2016-17, he played in 19 games for Minnesota, recording three points (2g, 1a), as well as 14 penalty minutes.

  • Rockford suffered a 5-3 loss at home to the visiting Milwaukee Admirals on Feb. 9.  
  • Defenseman Carl Dahlstrom was recalled by the Chicago Blackhawks on Feb. 9.
