IOWA WILD REASSIGNS FORWARD JACK WALKER TO RAPID CITY

DES MOINES, IOWA – Iowa Wild General Manager Brent Flahr announced today the American Hockey League (AHL) club has reassigned forward Jack Walker to Rapid City Rush of the ECHL.

Walker, 21 (7/30/1996), played two games with Iowa, making his AHL debut against Texas Stars on Feb. 19. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound native of Edina, Minn., has 20 points (10g, 10a) in 24 games with Rapid City. Walker was selected by Toronto Maple Leafs in the 6th round (152nd overall) of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft and signed an AHL contract with Iowa on Aug. 1, 2017.

Iowa heads up to Manitoba for two contests in the middle of a six-game road trip. Puck drop against the Moose is Saturday, March 3 at 7:00 p.m.
