IOWA WILD RECALLS FORWARD DANTE SALITURO, DEFENSEMAN MATT CAITO FROM RAPID CITY

DES MOINES, IOWA – Iowa Wild General Manager Brent Flahr announced today the American Hockey League (AHL) club has recalled forward Dante Salituro and defenseman Matt Caito from Rapid City Rush of the ECHL.

Salituro, 21 (11/15/1996), has appeared in 50 games for Rapid City, notching 41 points (19g, 22a). Salituro sits second on the team in points, and his 41 points rank eighth among rookies in the ECHL and the most on the Rush. The 5-foot-8, 175-pound native of Willowdale, Ontario, played two games earlier this season with Iowa, making his debut for the Wild against Rockford on Oct. 14. Acquired in a trade with Columbus Blue Jackets, Salituro signed a three-year, entry-level contract on July 1, 2016.

Caito, 24, (8/13/1993) has 19 points (5g, 14a) in 28 games played with the Rush. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound native of Coto de Caza, California has one assist in four games with Iowa this season.

Iowa heads up to Manitoba for two contests in the middle of a six-game road trip. Puck drop against the Moose is Saturday, March 3 at 7:00 p.m.
