IOWA WILD SIGNS DEFENSEMAN TOMMY PANICO TO PTOMar 17, 2018
DES MOINES, IOWA – Iowa Wild General Manager Brent Flahr announced today the American Hockey League (AHL) club has signed defenseman Tommy Panico to Professional Tryout Agreement (PTO).
Panico, 22 (3/22/95), appeared in a single game for Worcester Railers of the ECHL. He signed with the Railers after four seasons at University of Massachusetts – Lowell, where he totaled 42 points (11g, 31a) in 115 games. Panico also spent a season with Muskegon Lumberjacks of the USHL, registering 13 points (2g, 11a) in 52 games and was named team MVP.
Iowa faces off against Grand Rapids to begin a three-in-three stretch. Puck drop is at 6:00 p.m. CT.
