2019 – Leipold sees strong future for Iowa Wild
Amid the Wild’s first-ever playoff run, Minnesota Wild owner Craig Leipold sat down with feature writer Tom Witosky about what such a run meant to the organization and the development of young players in Iowa and how they’ve had an impact in St. Paul. The playoff run meant so much to Leipold and the organization that the team’s annual meeting of top-level executives moved from his hometown of Racine, WI to Des Moines specifically to watch the first two home games of the Central Division Semifinals against the Milwaukee Admirals.
