Iowa Continues Seven-Game Road Swing Wednesday in Texas at 7:30 PM

DES MOINES, IA  – Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher on Monday announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has activated defenseman Jonas Brodin (pronounced JOE-nuhs broh-DEEN) from Injured Reserve and assigned defenseman Christian Folin (pronounced FOE-lin) to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Brodin, 22 (6/12/93), has missed the last 12 games after suffering a broken foot against the New York Rangers on Feb. 4. He has collected six points (1-5=6) in 50 games with Minnesota this season and ranks tied for third on the team with 72 blocked shots and fourth in TOI/game at 20:22.

Folin, 25 (2/9/91), has collected three assists and 11 penalty minutes (PIM) in 24 games with Minnesota this season averaging 14:45 in TOI/game. He has recorded nine points (3-6=9) in 15 contests with Iowa. The 6-foot-4, 219-pound native of Gothenburg, Sweden, owns 14 points (2-12=14), 24 PIM and a plus-4 rating in 65 career NHL contests with the Wild.

The Wild continues a seven-game road trip on Wednesday, Mar. 2. The team makes additional stops in Texas (2), Manitoba (2), and Milwaukee (1) before returning home on Sunday, Mar. 13 to host the Milwaukee Admirals at 5 p.m. The Subway/Star 102.5 Combo Pack is available for purchase starting at $12. The combo pack includes one ticket, one hot dog, one soda, and one Subway coupon. The Wild hosts a live Red jersey auction following the game courtesy of the American Heart Association. A canned food drive presented by Billion Buick, Price Chopper, and Zeroez takes place during the game, benefitting MoveTheFood.org.

The Wells Fargo Arena box office is open Monday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and closed on Sunday. For Saturday game days, the box office will open at 10 a.m. For Sunday game days the box office will open at 12 p.m. Fans may also purchase tickets by calling 1-844-55-HYVEE or by visiting participating Hy-Vee food stores locations in the greater Des Moines area. The Iowa Wild 2015-16 season is presented by Mercy Medical Center, it runs from October through April. Fans may purchase seats to see any of the team’s 38 regular season home games at Wells Fargo Arena. Season tickets to see the Wild play its 2015-16 season at Wells Fargo Arena start at just $9 per game.
