Iowa Concludes Seven-Game Road Swing Friday in Milwaukee at 7 PM

DES MOINES, IA  – Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher on Friday announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled forward Jordan Schroeder(pronounced SHRAY-duhr) from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL) and reassigned goaltender Steve Michalek (pronounced MIKE-ah-lick) to Iowa.

Schroeder, 25 (9/29/90), has notched 34 points (14-20=34) in 40 games with Iowa this season including a point in his last four AHL games (3-1=4). He ranks T-1st on the team in power-play goals (5), second in assists, T-2nd in scoring and third in goals. Schroeder has tallied one goal in 15 games with Minnesota this season. The 5-foot-9, 184-pound native of Lakeville, Minn., owns 24 points (10-14=24) and a plus-2 rating in 96 career NHL contests with Vancouver and the Wild. Schroeder was originally selected by Vancouver in the first round (22nd overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft and wears sweater No. 10 with the Wild.

Michalek, 22 (8/6/93), was recalled under emergency conditions yesterday and did not appear in last night’s game against Edmonton. He is 6-2-0 with a 2.13 goals-against average (GAA) and a .931 save percentage (SV%) in eight games with Iowa this season and 12-8-4 with a 2.42 GAA, a .924 SV% and two shutouts in 24 games with the Quad City Mallards (ECHL).

The Wild concludes a seven-game road trip on Friday, Mar. 11 in Milwaukee. The returns home on Sunday, Mar. 13 to host the Milwaukee Admirals at 5 p.m. The Subway/Star 102.5 Combo Pack is available for purchase starting at $12. Tickets are available online at www.Iowawild.com under the single game tickets tab. The Wells Fargo Arena box office is open Monday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and closed on Sunday. For Saturday game days, the box office will open at 10 a.m. For Sunday game days the box office will open at 12 p.m. Fans may also purchase tickets by calling 1-844-55-HYVEE or by visiting participating Hy-Vee food stores locations in the greater Des Moines area. The Iowa Wild 2015-16 season is presented by Mercy Medical Center, it runs from October through April. Fans may purchase seats to see any of the team’s 38 regular season home games at Wells Fargo Arena. Season tickets to see the Wild play its 2015-16 season at Wells Fargo Arena start at just $9 per game.
