Last Time Out

The Iowa Wild were defeated by the Milwaukee Admirals 4-2 in front of 5,668 fans at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Friday night. With all the scoring in the first period, Iowa jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead before Milwaukee closed out the period with four unanswered. Iowa forwards Rob Bordson and Colton Beck each scored, as the loss ended Iowa’s season high three-game winning streak. Iowa goalie Leland Irving finished with 25 saves as his club fell to 3-4-0-0 at the end of its seven-game road trip. Admirals Max Gortz, Adam Payerl, Cody Bass and Kevin Fiala each scored in the win. Milwaukee goalie Jusse Saros made 23 saves on 25 shots.
