MINNESOTA ASSIGNS STALOCK AND BERTSCHY TO IOWA

Oct 11, 2016

Both Players Expected to Be in Des Moines For Home Opener

DES MOINES, IA - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher on Wednesday announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has claimed forward Teemu Pulkkinen (pronounced TEE-moo PUHL-kih-nuhn) off waivers from Detroit. The Wild also announced forward Christoph Bertschy and goalie Alex Stalock have been assigned to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).

"Teemu's been a prolific goal scorer at every level," said Fletcher. "It's hard to score goals in this league and we thought his talent is high-end and worth the waiver claim."
