Iowa and Milwaukee meet for the fifth time this season, as both teams have taken a pair of games in the season series. Milwaukee claimed a 3-1 win at Iowa in the last meeting on Dec. 6. Iowa is coming off a 4-1 win over Rockford on Monday night at home. It marked the fourth win in the last six outings for the Wild. Milwaukee is coming off a 5-2 defeat to Chicago at home on Monday night. The Admirals have dropped three straight and five of their last eight.

Wednesday marks the 31st all-time meeting between Iowa and Milwaukee.  The Wild is 11-15-2-2 all-time against the Admirals, including a 7-6-0-2 mark in Wisconsin. Milwaukee is 19-8-2-1 all-time against Iowa and 8-7-0-0 all-time at home.

The Iowa Wild defeated the Rockford IceHogs 4-1 in front of 6,517 fans on Monday night at Wells Fargo Arena. Right wing Teemu Pulkkinen scored twice and added an assist to lead Iowa over Rockford. Iowa goalie Alex Stalock stopped 22 of 23 for the victory. Wild forwards Mario Lucia and Christoph Bertschy also scored, as Iowa improved to 8-10-0-1 at home this season. Rockford goalie Lars Johanson made 18 saves as the Hogs saw their four-game point streak snapped.

Through the first 31 games of the regular season, right wing Teemu Pulkkinen leads the club with 11 goals and 20 points in 21 games played.
