DARCY KUEMPER AND JASON ZUCKER TO IOWA 
TORREY MITCHELL AND KEITH BALLARD ACTIVATED FROM INJURED RESERVE
 
    SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher on Wednesday announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned goaltender Darcy Kuemper and forward Jason Zucker to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League. The team also announced today it has activated forward Torrey Mitchell and defenseman Keith Ballard from Injured Reserve.
 
    Kuemper, 23 (5/5/90), is 3-7-0 with a 2.97 GAA and a .908 SV% in 10 games with Iowa this season and 0-1-0 in two games (one start) with Minnesota.
 
    Zucker, 21 (1/16/92), has registered 11 shots in four games with Minnesota and tallied eight points (4-4=8), including three power-play goals in 12 games with Iowa this season. He was recalled by the Wild on Nov. 20.
 
    Mitchell, 28 (1/30/85), has collected four points (1-3=4) in 22 games with Minnesota this season and has missed the team’s last three games with a lower-body injury.
 
        Ballard, 31 (11/26/82), has posted four assists in nine games with Minnesota this season and has missed the last nine games with an upper-body injury.
