Iowa Plays Final Home Game Against Chicago this Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Des Moines, IA – Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher on Wednesday announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned forward Jake Dowell to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Dowell, 29 (3/4/85), played in one game with the Wild since his most recent recall on April 2, totaling one shot and 7:09 TOI in a shootout loss April 3 in Chicago. He’s registered 17 points (6-11=17) and 56 penalty minutes (PIM) in 54 games with Iowa this season. On April 11, he was announced as this year’s recipient of the AHL’s Fred T. Hunt Memorial Award – honoring the AHL player who best exemplifies the qualities of sportsmanship, determination and dedication to hockey.
The Wild welcomes Chicago for the final regular season home game on Wednesday, April 16 at 7:05 p.m. Fans may purchase a $5 ticket to the game by presenting a Subway receipt at the Wells Fargo box office. The team concludes its regular season in Oklahoma City at 7 p.m. on April 18 and April 19.
Fans may purchase single game tickets multiple ways, either through the team's website – www.Iowawild.com, Wells Fargo Arena box office or Dahl's Ticketing. Tickets are available online at www.iowawild.com under the single game tickets tab. Fans may also purchase tickets by calling 1-866-55-DAHLS (32457) or by visiting one of 13 Dahl's Food Stores locations in the greater Des Moines area, and in Ames.
