WILD RETURNS GELINAS TO QUAD CITY

DES MOINES, IA – Iowa Wild General Manager Brent Flahr announced on Monday the American Hockey League (AHL) club has assigned defenseman Guillaume Gelinas (gee-yohm, GEL-eh-nuh) to the Quad City Mallards, Iowa’s ECHL’s affiliate.
Gelinas, 22 (6/14/93), has played in three games for Iowa this season without registering a point. The Quebec native played in 25 games for the Quad City Mallards this season. At the time of his recall, he was fourth on the team in scoring with five goals and 12 assists for 17 points. He appeared in 37 games for the Iowa Wild during his first professional season in 2014-15, scoring two goals and collecting two assists for four points. For his AHL career, Gelinas has two goals in two assists totaling four points in 40 games with Iowa.
The Wild makes stops in Manitoba for two games, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. The team heads to Milwaukee on Jan. 9 before returning home on Sunday, Jan. 10 for a game against the Rockford IceHogs. The Wild hosts a postgame concert following its’ game against the San Jose Barracuda on Jan. 16. The concert is headlined by country star, CAM. Cam’s song “Burning House” is a Grammy nominee for “Best Country Solo Performance” of the year. The concert is sponsored by NASH FM, NASH ICON, Tree Town Festival, and Gregg Young Chevrolet in Norwalk. Additional ticket packages and passes are available for purchase.
Fans may purchase single-game tickets multiple ways, either through the team's website – www.Iowawild.com, the Wells Fargo Arena box office or participating Hy-Vee food stores. Tickets are available online at www.Iowawild.com under the single game tickets tab. The Wells Fargo Arena box office is open Monday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and closed on Sunday. For Saturday game days, the box office will open at 10 a.m. For Sunday game days the box office will open at 12 p.m. Fans may also purchase tickets by calling 1-844-55-HYVEE or by visiting participating Hy-Vee food stores locations in the greater Des Moines area. The Iowa Wild 2015-16 season is presented by Mercy Medical Center, it runs from October through April. Fans may purchase seats to see any of the team’s 38 regular season home games at Wells Fargo Arena. Season tickets to see the Wild play its 2015-16 season at Wells Fargo Arena start at just $9 per game.
