Iowa and Colorado face off for the third time this season after splitting the first two matchups. The matchup is the third of four between the Wild and the Eagles in the 2021-22 season.

On Wednesday, Jan. 17, the Wild and the Manitoba Moose faced off in an electrifying contest. Manitoba scored the first two goals of the game, but the Wild outscored the Moose 4-1 from that point on. Iowa forward Mason Shaw recorded three goals, including the game-winning tally with 31-seconds left in the game, and an assist. Additionally, Wild forward Kyle Rau scored to take sole possession of second place all-time in goals scored in Iowa Wild franchise history with 73.
