The Wild and the Gulls face off for the first time in the 2021-22 season on Jan. 28. The matchup is the first of four between Iowa and San Diego this season.

On Wednesday, Jan. 26, the Wild faced off against the Rockford IceHogs for the fifth time in the 2021-22 season. A first period tally by Wild forward Marco Rossi and an overtime winner from Wild forward Joseph Cramarossa secured a 2-1 victory for Iowa. In his fourth start in five games, Wild goaltender Zane McIntyre made 20 saves on 21 shots. The win was Iowa’s fourth in five games against Rockford this season.
