Coming off a two-game series sweep of the Milwaukee Admirals, the Wild have won three games in a row by a combined score of 13-6. Nov. 19, 2021 marks the first of four meetings between the Roadrunners and Wild this season. During tonight's game, the Wild will be honoring those who have been affected by cancer with their annual Hockey Fight's Cancer Night.

 

PREVIOUSLY ON THE POND

 

On Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021 and Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021, the Wild took both games of a two-game weekend series against the Milwaukee Admirals. In game one of two, goaltender Andrew Hammond made 26 saves and recorded his second shutout of the season in a 5-0 Iowa victory. In game two, Kyle Rau scored to place him in a tie with former Wild forward Zack Mitchell for the third-most goals in franchise history in a 4-3 win.

  • Wild forward Kyle Rau needs one goal to gain sole possession of third all-time in goals scored in Iowa Wild franchise history.
  • Iowa forward Adam Beckman has recorded a goal and an assist in each of the last two games.

  • The Wild are the number one team in the AHL in home power play percentage (40%).

 

ROWDY ROADRUNNERS

 

  • Tucson is ranked last in the AHL in road penalty kill percentage (64.3%).
  • Roadrunners goaltender Ivan Prosvetov is 11th in the AHL in goals against average (2.32).
  • Six of Tucson forward Matias Maccelli’s 10 points have come on the power play.
  • The Roadrunners are one of seven teams who have not scored a shorthanded goal this season.
