IOWA WILD ANNOUNCES FIRST ROUND SCHEDULE, PLAYOFF SLOGAN
Apr 16, 2023DES MOINES, Iowa – Iowa Wild General Manager Mike Murray today announced the schedule for the American Hockey League (AHL) team’s Central Division Quarterfinals series against the Rockford IceHogs.
Iowa enters the Calder Cup Playoffs as the fourth-place team in the Central Division and will play Rockford in a best-of-three series in the opening round. The schedule for the Central Division Quarterfinals is as follows:

Game 1: Wednesday, Apr. 19 at 7 p.m. (BMO Center)

Game 2: Friday, Apr. 21 at 7 p.m. (Wells Fargo Arena)

Game 3*: Sunday, Apr. 23 at 3 p.m. (Wells Fargo Arena, * - if necessary)

The team also announced its slogan for the 2023 Calder Cup Playoffs, #BETHEROAR.

Iowa's postseason berth is the team’s second in its 10-year history. Iowa last participated in the Calder Cup Playoffs in 2018-19, when the team finished fourth in the Central Division and beat the Milwaukee Admirals three games to two in the opening round.
