MINNESOTA WILD SIGNS DEFENSEMAN JOE HICKETTS TO A TWO-YEAR, TWO-WAY CONTRACT

MINNESOTA WILD REDUCES TRAINING CAMP ROSTER TO 34

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Minnesota Wild General Manager Bill Guerin today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reduced its training camp roster to 34 players.

 

The Wild assigned the following players to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL):

 

Goaltenders: Dereck Baribeau and Hunter Jones

 

Forwards: Will Bitten, Mitchell Chaffee, Joe Cramarossa, Damien Giroux, Ivan Lodnia, Nick Swaney and Dominic Turgeon

 

The team released defensemen Turner Ottenbreit, Doyle Somerby and Keaton Thompson from their professional tryouts. They will report to Iowa Wild training camp.
