The Iowa Wild has revealed its top assists of the 2015-16 season.  The team needs help in choosing its top helper of the year.

Play #1 - Iowa Wild Top Assists 2015-16 Jordan Schroeder to Grayson Downing on 1.29.16.
On the same night Jordan Schroeder set up each of Christoph Bertcshy’s hat trick (the first in Iowa Wild history), he capped off his team record four-assist game with a nice pass to Grayson Downing in overtime for the game-winning goal in a 5-4 Iowa victory at home over Charlotte on Jan. 29, 2016.

Play #2 - Iowa Wild Top Assists 2015-16 Grayson Downing to Zack Mitchell on 1.9.16 VOTE HERE
At 6:17 of the first period in Milwaukee on Jan. 9, 2016 Grayson Downing scoops up the puck on the wall and makes a pass from his knees for Zack Mitchell’s 11th goal of the season.  The Wild beat the Admirals 4-1 that evening, as Downing set up two of the four goals.

Play #3 - Iowa Wild Top Assists 2015-16 Tyler Graovac to Brett Bulmer on 2.22.16 VOTE HERE
Tyler Graovac makes a few nifty moves to dance around a Manitoba defender and get the puck to the slot – as Brett Bulmer gave Iowa a 1-0 lead at 11:11 of the opening period at Wells Fargo Arena. The Wild defeated the Moose 3-2 behind a two-goal effort by Zac Dalpe on Feb. 22, 2016.

Play #4 - Iowa Wild Top Assists 2015-16 Zack Mitchell to Gustav Olofsson on 1.16.16 VOTE HERE
The play earned Iowa Wild Goal of the Year honors after the fans voted for defenseman Gustav Oloffson’s game-winner in overtime at home on Jan. 16, 2016.  – a 2-1 victory over San Jose in Des Moines. Right wing Zack Mitchell sauces a great pass to Olofsson just 1:14 into overtime. The goal set off a loud ovation from an Iowa pro hockey record of 12,445 fans.

Play #5 - Iowa Wild Top Assists 2015-16 Alex Petan to Zac Dalpe on 3.30.16 VOTE HERE
Rookie Alex Petan threads the needle to spring Zac Dalpe for a breakaway against the Manitoba Moose on Mar. 30, 2016 – a 3-2 defeat at home for Iowa. Petan grabs a loose puck in the Iowa zone and finds Dalpe up the middle for his third goal of the year and a 2-2 tie in the second period.  The assist marked the first point of Petan’s career.

Play #6 - Iowa Wild Top Assists 2015-16 Tyson Strachan to Marc Hagel on 2.21.16 VOTE HERE
Defenseman Tyson Strachan is the only player to make the list with two entries for pass plays of the season.  Trailing 1-0 in Milwaukee on Feb. 21, Strachan jumps into the play, following the rebound of a Brett Bulmer shot. Strachan stretches and tips the puck to the left wing for a wide-open Marc Hagel, who ties the game 1-1 at 8:52 of the third period. The goal earned Iowa a point in the standings, as the Admirals edged the Wild 2-1 in a shootout.

Play #7 - Iowa Wild Top Assists 2015-16 Tyson Strachan to Zack Mitchell on 2.24.16 VOTE HERE
With his second nominee of the bunch, defenseman Tyson Strachan plays the angle for a crafty pass to Zack Mitchell on Feb. 24 at Wells Fargo Arena against Manitoba. With the Wild trailing 1-0 late in the second period, Strachan banks a pass, off the boards to a streaking Mitchell, who finishes off a breakaway to tie the game. Team Captain Max Fortunus capped off a 2-1 victory with a goal in the third period.

Play #8 - Iowa Wild Top Assists 2015-16 Hunter Warner to Scott Sabourin on 4.15.16 VOTE HERE
In just his second pro game, rookie defenseman Hunter Warner walked around a Chicago Wolves defender and spun before dropping off a perfect centering pass for Scott Sabourin. The first point of Warner’s career came at 13:33 of the first period on Apr. 15, 2016 in Des Moines.  Chicago escaped Wells Fargo Arena with a 3-2 shootout win.
