MINNESOTA WILD TO PARTICIPATE IN 2015 NHL PROSPECTS TOURNAMENT IN TRAVERSE CITY, MICHIGAN, SEPTEMBER 11-15 

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher on Monday announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club will participate in the 2015 NHL Prospects Tournament in Traverse City, Mich., Sept. 11-15. Wild prospects will compete in the tournament's Ted Lindsay Division with the Columbus Blue Jackets, New York Rangers and St. Louis Blues. The Carolina Hurricanes, Chicago Blackhawks, Dallas Stars and Detroit Red Wings will play in the Gordie Howe Division.

The Iowa Wild is well represented, starting with the coaching staff, as Iowa Wild Head Coach John Torchetti, Associate Coach David Cunniff and Assistant Coach Pascal Rheaume will lead the Minnesota prospects. Ten different skaters played for Iowa during the 2014-15 season – including forwards Kurtis Gabriel, Zack Mitchell, Brady Brassart, Grayson Downing, Pavel Jenys and defensemen Gustav Olofsson, Dylan Labbe, Guilluame Gelinas, Alex Gudbranson and Zach Palmquist. 

Minnesota's roster features a total of 10 Wild draft picks: C Christoph Bertschy (2012, 6th round), D Gustav Bouramman (2015, 7th round), C Reid Duke (2014, 6th round), D Tanner Faith (2014, 5th round), RW Kurtis Gabriel (2013, 3rd round), RW Pavel Jenys (2014, 7th round), D Dylan Labbe(2013, 4th round), C Chase Lang (2014, 6th round), G Stephen Michalek (2011, 6th round) and D Gustav Olofsson (2013, 2nd round) along with four 2015 free-agent signings: C Grayson Downing, G Brody Hoffman, D Zach Palmquist and D Mike Reilly.
